Aster Flower Seed Planting Directions

Named after the Greek word for 'star,' aster flowers symbolise love, wisdom, and faith. In Greek mythology, they were placed on altars for the gods.

Our gift to you, in celebration of our latest collection, Protection 026.24. Inspired by symbols and protective rituals from Creative Director, Katie Kolodinski's youth, this collection, in collaboration with Australian artist Miranda Skoczek, redefines dressing as a ritual, charging everyday wear with energy and intent.

PLANTING DIRECTIONS

  1. Timing and Location: Plant aster seeds in spring after the last frost. Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
  2. Soil Preparation: Loosen soil to a depth of 6 inches and remove debris. Optionally, amend soil with compost for better fertility.
  3. Sowing Seeds: Scatter aster seeds evenly over the soil surface, spacing them about 12-18 inches apart.
  4. Cover and Water: Lightly cover seeds with soil or vermiculite. Water gently to keep soil consistently moist.
  5. Care and Maintenance: Thin seedlings if necessary. Water regularly, avoid overhead watering, and consider mulching to retain moisture.
  6. Support and Fertilize (if needed): Provide support for tall varieties and fertilize sparingly if soil lacks nutrients.
Enjoy your Aster Flower Seeds in bloom. x
