Our Packaging

Our recent transition to compostable packaging wraps your orders in a refined material with an aligned purpose. We've recently invested in a bio-based poly bag that will completely degrade within 2-4 weeks of being placed in a home or industrial compost bin. Eliminating the use of virgin plastics is apart of our ethos to become a brand that does not cost the earth.

A Letter to Your Government

Unfortunately only very few of the world's cities compost, process and utilize compostable household waste. If your city doesn't compost, writing a letter to your government could be a great place to start.

We have started a letter for you here:

To whom it may concern,

I am writing on behalf of myself and on behalf of my fellow community, as it has been brought to my attention that we are in need of more accessible composting stations, or, alternatively, a widespread composting plan for our local area. It’s my belief that together we can create change. By installing local resources we, as a community, can achieve a greener future for all.

This call to action rises from the threat of an irreversibly polluted future. With many local businesses now switching to compostable products such as online shipping satchels and other disposable goods, it comes with great urgency to implement space for the community to utilise freely.

Composting contributes to: a reduction in garbage volume, a rich, natural fertiliser, and encourages cuts on use of chemical fertilisers, improves soil aeration, and drainage, helps control weeds, and decreases the need for costly watering.

Many experts claim that composting improves soil structure, improves soil’s ability to hold the correct amount of moisture, nutrients, and air, and improves the texture of both clay and sandy soils, making either type rich, moisture-retentive, and loamy. Understanding how to make and use compost is in the public’s best interest, as the problem of waste disposal continues to grow.

I hope you consider this proposal, and I look forward to your response.

Yours faithfully,
