This Silk Landry Art Prize celebrates the photographic works of our community by paying homage to their craftsmanship and artistic expression. In line with our collection Nature’s Laboratory 2023, this year’s competition focused on the mesmerising world of insects.

The Silk Laundry Art Prize is an annual celebration of artistic vision and creative innovation, inspired by founder Katie Kolodinski's passion for art.
With a commitment to artisanal craftsmanship and natural low-impact materials, Katie uses her craft as a vector of change, where each collection is a study of the world around us.
“I’ve always had a deep appreciation for art, and artists, whether recognised for their works, or carving time out of their days, or weeks, to embrace a moment of creativity. As an inclusive initiative, the Art Prize is open to people of all ages and situations, and offers a platform to celebrate them,” Founder and Creative Director, Katie Kolodinski.
